Every time we visit Asolo, we find ourselves staying longer than planned. Not because there’s so much to do. But because it’s one of those rare places where doing very little feels absolutely perfect.

One of Asolo’s most important historical landmarks is the Castle of Caterina Cornaro, the former Queen of Cyprus.
Her residence transformed Asolo into an important cultural centre during the Renaissance, attracting artists, writers and intellectuals from across Europe.
Today, the castle and its surroundings continue to tell that story, while offering beautiful views over the surrounding hills.
The Rocca Fortress
If you’re willing to take a short uphill walk, you’ll reach La Rocca, the medieval fortress overlooking Asolo.
The climb is gentle and well worth the effort. From the top, panoramic views stretch across vineyards, rolling hills and the Veneto countryside.
It’s one of those places where you naturally stop talking for a moment and simply enjoy the landscape.
